Important things to know about the Platu25 XSP:

The XSP is the only Platú25 that allows you to race in equal terms with the firsts Platú25 built by Beneteau (like all the current leaders are). Those were, to the date, the most coveted boats since they were built at the maximum measures of the Bruce Farr design, and this is the way the Farr Platu25 XSP are built.

Unlike the Beneteau Platu25, the Farr Platu 25 XSP doesn’t need to be “worked out” to be ready for sail racing. If you watch the classifieds for the Platu25 built by Beneteau for sale in the second hand market, you will immediately realize how are highlighted the additional works done to the boat to left it ready for racing, all forbidden by the class rules, and contrary to the philosophy of a monotype class.

With a Farr Platu25 XSP you don’t need to do this important investments and works to have a leader and winner boat, with high quality finishes, minimum weight, and maximum sizes. The XSP boats don’t have a truncated transom, and are built with the maximum beam and length, they are accurate to the Bruce Farr original design.

Cosas importantes a saber sobre los Platu25 XSP:

El XSP es el único Platú25 que tal como llega del astillero permite competir en igualdad de condiciones con los primerísimos Platú25 que construyó Beneteau, como lo son casi todos los punteros actuales, y que hasta ahora eran los barcos más buscados por ir a medidas máximas del diseño de Bruce Farr, tal como lo siguen siendo los Farr Platu25 XSP.

Los Platu25 XSP, a diferencia de los Platu25 Beneteau, no necesitan ser “trabajados” para dejarlos listos para regatas. Si se observan los anuncios de los Platu25 construidos por Beneteau en venta en el mercado usado, de inmediato nos percatamos como se destacan todos los trabajos que se han tenido que realizar al barco para dejarlo listo para regatas, todo ello prohibido por las reglas de clase, y contrario a la filosofía de una clase monotipo.

Con un Farr Platu25 XSP no necesita hacer esas importantes inversiones y trabajos para tener un barco puntero y ganador, con excelentes acabados, peso mínimo, y a medidas máximas. Los XSP no tienen la popa cortada, y mantienen su manga y eslora en medidas máximas, fieles al diseño original de Bruce Farr.
